The John M. Olin Institute for Strategic Studies is a community committed to promoting excellence in research on and analysis of topics crucial to the security of the United States and its allies. To accomplish these objectives, the Institute awards Fellowships in National Security, funds research by individual scholars, supports teaching in national security affairs at Harvard University, and conducts conferences and seminars. Interaction among current members of the community and the many alumni of the Olin Institute creates an enduring network.
