Harvard-MIT Private Governance Working Group

The Harvard-MIT Private Governance Working Group is a forum for scholars to discuss research on various aspects of private governance (such as voluntary certification standards and codes of conduct addressing ethical and environmental issues in the private sector, initiated and implemented by companies and non-governmental groups).

The working group meets monthly to discuss ongoing and future research projects, and to explore opportunities to collaborate and exchange ideas. The group is a supportive and lively intellectual community, which consists of faculty and graduate students from a variety of departments and schools including political science, economics, business management, public policy, and sociology.
