Interdisciplinary Panel Discussion on International Development

This event will bring together leading experts on the politics, economics, and history of international development to share the most exciting developments in their respective fields and to discuss how scholars of development in different disciplines can better talk to each other, and why they should. It will mark the publication of the new book, The Development Century: A Global History. Edited by Stephen J. Macekura and Erez Manela, this volume offers a cutting-edge perspective on how development has shaped the history of the modern world.

Interdisciplinary discussion on international development with Erez Manela, professor of history, Harvard University; Melani Cammett, Clarence Dillon Professor of International Affairs, Harvard University; Dani Rodrik, Ford Foundation Professor of International Political Economy at Harvard's John F.
