# Photography Exhibition / Imagine: Reflections on Peace ## October 5 through November 30, 2026 On display at the CGIS South Building, Concourse (Basement) Level, 1730 Cambridge Street, Cambridge. It is the culmination of global reporting done by [The VII Foundation](https://theviifoundation.org/) and takes a deep dive into postconflict societies, exploring what happens on the ground when the peacemakers and diplomats depart, and what we can learn about peacebuilding from those lived experiences. The intention for this project is to have domestic and global impact through policy making, peacebuilding—in towns and cities in the process of rebuilding—and in classrooms, encouraging the next generation to create better ways of avoiding conflict and making a better peace. This exhibition presents work from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Cambodia, Colombia, and Lebanon. Director of The VII Foundation Ron Haviv, Emmy-nominated filmmaker and award-winning photojournalist, is integral to this project and has many photographs in the exhibition. Haviv is delivering the Samuel L. and Elizabeth Jodidi Lecture on October 22, titled "[Testimony (1989–2026)](https://www.wcfia.harvard.edu/events/jodidi26-haviv)." Established in 1955, the Jodidi Lecture series provides for the “delivery of lectures by eminent and well-qualified persons…for the promotion of tolerance, understanding and good will among nations, and the peace of the world.” Through a visual presentation, he will explore the realities of conflict and the ethical, practical, and personal challenges of visual journalism, from Central America and the Balkans to the Arab Spring, Ukraine, and an increasingly polarized United States. Learn more ### Imagine / Project *Imagine: Reflections on Peace* is a book, exhibition, short films, and educational curriculum conceived to encourage discourse and conversation around peace building and ending conflict. It is an initiative of The VII Foundation, which was established in 2001 to challenge complex social, economic, environmental, and human rights issues through documentary nonfiction storytelling and education.
