## Getting Here

### Driving

Before planning to drive a car to Harvard Square and the Weatherhead Center, you should think about where you are going to park. There is metered parking all along Cambridge, Kirkland, and Oxford Streets near the Weatherhead Center offices. However, if you do not have pre-arranged parking or if you do not have time to search for a parking place, you should strongly consider arriving by subway, bus, or taxi.

### Public Transportation

The Weatherhead Center is accessible by several different bus stops on the MBTA, and is approximately a fifteen-minute walk from the nearest subway station, Harvard Square, on the MBTA red line. [Find available routes](https://www.mbta.com/transit-near-me?address=1737+Cambridge+St&latitude=42.375600069005&longitude=-71.113281329681) on the MBTA website.

#### Walking Directions from the Harvard Square Subway Station (MBTA Red Line)

Leave the Harvard Square station and cross Massachusetts Avenue into Harvard Yard. Walk north, across the length of the Yard, toward the Harvard Science Center. At the Science Center turn right, following the sidewalk past Memorial Hall. Cross Quincy Street, and 1737 Cambridge Street will be the second building on your left.
