Speaker Bios:
Cheryl Mattingly is Professor of Anthropology at the University of Southern California in the Department of Anthropology and the Division of Occupational Science and Therapy. Mattingly is the Director of the University of Southern California Initiative of Health, Humanity and Culture. She is also a Dale T. Mortensen Senior Research Fellow at the Aarhus Institute for Advanced Studies of Aarhus University, Denmark.
Stephanie Keeney Parks is a doctoral student at the University of California, Los Angeles in the Department of Anthropology where she studies medical/psychological and linguistic anthropology. She also possesses a master’s degree in medical anthropology from Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. Stephanie’s research centers on the everyday lives of Black parents who have children with autism.
