Biography:

Licenciada en Administración de Empresas de Boston University y Magister en Administración de Empresas (MBA) de Columbia University. Fue Primera Dama del Perú (1994 – 2000), Presidenta de la Fundación por los Niños del Perú (1994 – 2000) y Fundadora y Presidenta de la Fundación Peruana Cardio-infantil (1996- 2006). Congresista de la República del 2006 - 2011, elegida con la más alta votación en la historia del Perú. Segundo lugar en las elecciones presidenciales peruanas del 2011 con el 48.7% de la votación nacional. Presidenta del Partido Político Fuerza Popular, considerado en la actualidad como la primera fuerza de oposición política.
