*Courtesy of Rayha McPherson*The Center welcomes applications from students in various disciplines whose research involves international, transnational, global, and comparative national issues that may address contemporary or historical topics, including policy analysis, as well as the study of specific countries and regions outside the United States.

The Weatherhead Center supports undergraduate research with approximately $100,000 annually and has been fortunate to receive significant financial support for student research. The generous gifts of Albert and Celia Weatherhead, for whom the Center was renamed in 1998, assist in the operation of the Center generally and with student programs in particular.

The Hartley R. Rogers family generously supports undergraduate research related to less-developed regions of the world including Africa and South and Southeast Asia. Additionally, the Kenneth I. Juster, Frank Boas, Julian Sobin, William Lyon Mackenzie King, and Maurice and Sarah Samuels Family endowments allow the Center to support groundbreaking student research both on campus and abroad.
