The Weatherhead Forum panel on "[Geopolitical Stakes of the 2024 US Presidential Election](/event/special-event-weatherhead-forum-10-09-24)" was covered in *The Harvard Gazette* in "[Outside of the U.S., how do leaders view Harris and Trump?](https://news.harvard.edu/gazette/story/2024/10/outside-of-the-u-s-how-do-leaders-view-harris-and-trump/)" The panel featured four experts weighing in on China, Russia, the Middle East, and Latin America—and what those regions have at stake depending on who becomes the next president of the United States. Issues such as the Ukraine war, the crisis in Gaza and beyond, tariffs on China, and drug corridors in Latin America are all relevant and will be impacted by a Trump or Harris administration.
