**This seminar is open to the public.**

The Seminar in International Economics covers a broad spectrum of recent theoretical and empirical research on international trade, capital markets, monetary arrangements, and sovereign debt. Examples of recent topics include monetary unions, global financial adjustment, causes of recession, the international organization of production, and the effect of trade on growth, income distribution, and welfare.

The Seminar in International Economics meets once a week during the fall and spring semesters and is attended by graduate students and faculty, mostly from the Department of Economics and Harvard Kennedy School.

The workshop is chaired by Professors Pol Antràs, Elhanan Helpman, Oleg Itskhoki, Marc Melitz, and Kenneth Rogoff.
