“Rebuilding Japan after Fukushima”
The Program on U.S.-Japan Relations will honor Dr. Yoichi Funabashi, President of the Rebuild Japan Initiative Foundation, as its Distinguished Visitor for the 2011–2012 academic year. His foundation recently published an independent investigative report on the Fukushima Daiichi Power Plant nuclear disaster in March 2011. On Monday, March 26, he will offer a public seminar on “Rebuilding Japan after Fukushima,” during 12:30 PM–2:00 PM, at Tsai Auditorium (S010), CGIS South Building, 1730 Cambridge Street. Dr. Funabashi’s recent op-ed appeared in the New York Times.
