Workshop on International Migration

This seminar is open to the public.

The Workshop on International Migration is a powerful interdisciplinary forum for discussing international migration and immigrant incorporation. It is based on a collaboration between the Migration and Immigrant Incorporation (MII) Workshop, a cornerstone of immigration research at Harvard since 2001, and the Immigration Initiative at Harvard (IIH).

In this workshop, doctoral students and postdoctoral fellows from across Harvard  present ongoing works in progress, receiving invaluable mentoring and professional development support as they refine their ideas and scholarship. The workshop also features national and international guest speakers presenting cutting-edge work on research, policy, and practice in the field of immigration.

This seminar is chaired by Mary Waters, Christina Ciocca Eller, and Carola Suarez-Orozco.
