Politics and Social Change Workshop
This seminar is open to the public. This seminar is on hiatus for the 2025–2026 academic year.
This seminar explores the intersections of politics and society. Past seminar topics include the cultural impacts of social movements, political responsibility in a globalized world, the politicization of education, and linkages between transnational and local political organizations. Scholars in our community span a variety of disciplines and explore a broad range of actors and processes at the local, national, and transnational levels. We meet twice a month to hear about in-progress research from graduate students, faculty, and visitors. All are welcome to drop by a session and/or join our mailing list to stay updated.
